Columbia has gone 8-2 against Freeburg recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Eagles will head out to square off against the Midgets at 6:30 p.m. Columbia is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.

Columbia's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Salem 10-0. Considering Columbia have won ten contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Freeburg fought the good fight in their overtime game against Roxana on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Shells by a score of 1-0.

Columbia's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-2-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those three matches. As for Freeburg, they now have a losing record of 8-9-2.

Columbia took their victory against Freeburg when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
