Soccer Recap: South Brunswick Takes a Loss

South Brunswick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the West Orange Mountaineers, falling 6-1. While losing is never fun, South Brunswick can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey soccer rankings (they are ranked 190th, while West Orange are ranked second).

South Brunswick's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for West Orange, their win bumped their record up to 13-0.

Looking ahead, South Brunswick will challenge Sayreville at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for West Orange, they will face off against Columbia at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
