            Baseball Recap: Madison Mustangs vs. McNairy Central Bobcats        
        
		
        
        
            Madison extended their losing streak  to three  on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 12-9-1 in the process. They came up short against  the McNairy Central Bobcats, falling  9-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the  13-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in May of 2017.
 Madison saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Nicolas Udovich, who  went 1-for-2 with one  stolen base.
As for McNairy Central, the  victory was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-8. Those  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games.
 On McNairy Central's side,  the team  relied heavily on  Case Rickman, who  went 3-for-4 with three  RBI and one  run. Those  three  hits gave  Rickman a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kendall Kiestler, who  went 2-for-3 with one  run and one  RBI.
 Madison didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  6-4  loss against Union City on the 18th. As for McNairy Central, they have also already played their next game,  a  10-9  defeat against Bolivar Central on the 18th.
