Volleyball Recap: Gautier Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Gautier entered their tilt with Pearl River Central on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Blue Devils with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 two weeks ago.

Lilli Domingues paced Gautier's offense, picking up 11 kills. Domingues got some help from Sierra Smith and her 15 assists. Smith also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Rionna Stokes, racking up four apiece.

Gautier's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Pearl River Central, they dropped their record down to 0-14 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Gautier has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Poplarville on the 15th. As for Pearl River Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Pascagoula on the 16th.
