After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Paul Lutheran, the Eagle Ridge Christian Eagles were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They snuck past Providence Classical Christian Academy with a 32-26 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Eagle Ridge Christian also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.

Providence Classical Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jessica Marcotte, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds. Naomi Sparks was another key contributor, scoring four points along with eight rebounds and four steals.

Eagle Ridge Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Providence Classical Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

Eagle Ridge Christian won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Mississippi Valley Christian is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. Providence Classical Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on the at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
