Recap: Crossroads Christian Warriors vs. California Lutheran C-Hawks
The Crossroads Christian Warriors lost against the California Lutheran C-Hawks back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Crossroads Christian was outmatched by California Lutheran on the road and fell 48-4. Crossroads Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-2.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead California Lutheran to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dumaga Orjiako, who scored 17 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 blocks. Jonas Vogel was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals.
Crossroads Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for California Lutheran, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crossroads Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Santa Rosa Academy at 4:30 p.m. on December 1st. Hopefully Santa Rosa Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Thursday. As for California Lutheran, they will be playing at home against Cornerstone Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
