Football Game Preview: Wheat Ridge Farmers vs. Summit Tigers + How To Watch

The Wheat Ridge Farmers will head out to face off against the Summit Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wheat Ridge has given up an average of 46 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Thursday, Wheat Ridge had to suffer through a 71-20 loss at the hands of Evergreen. The Farmers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 51-20.

Wheat Ridge's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jyles Ballenger, who rushed for 50 yards and one TD, and Isaiah Osei, who picked up 99 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Meanwhile, Summit was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 17-14 heartbreaker at the hands of Skyview. The game was a 14-14 toss-up at halftime, but the Tigers couldn't quite close it out.

Wheat Ridge's record is now 1-8. As for Summit, their record now sits at an identical 1-8.

Wheat Ridge didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Summit in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, but they still walked away with a 23-18 win.
