Mountlake Terrace took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Shorecrest, sneaking past 8-6. The victory continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Scots: they've now won five in a row.

Charlotte Snook spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up 12 Ks. Those 12 strikeouts gave her a new career-high.
On the hitting side, Evie Snow was incredible, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. What's more, she posted two doubles, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. Hailey Taron was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
Meanwhile, Meadowdale came up short against Jackson on Wednesday, falling 9-1.
Meadowdale saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madison Mitchell, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Mitchell also put up a double, which was her first of the season.
Mountlake Terrace's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Meadowdale, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
Meadowdale's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Mountlake Terrace has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .551. It's a different story for Meadowdale, though, as they've only averaged .260. Will they be able to contain Mountlake Terrace's hitters?
