Softball Recap: Huntley Red Raiders vs. DeKalb Barbs
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Huntley had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They came out on top against the DeKalb Barbs by a score of 6-1. The victory continues a trend for the Red Raiders in their matchups with the Barbs: they've now won six in a row.
Gretchen Huber spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on six hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
