The LaBrae Vikings will face off against the Brookfield Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. LaBrae is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 27.7 points per game this season.

On Friday, LaBrae got the win against Champion by a conclusive 38-13. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 21-0.

LaBrae had a senior duo take command as Easton Armstrong rushed for 135 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry and Kenny Yoho rushed for 41 yards and two scores.

LaBrae was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 352 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Brookfield lost to Crestview at home by a 28-12 margin on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 443rd, while the Rebels are ranked 128th).

LaBrae's win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.8 points on average over those games. As for Brookfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

LaBrae didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Brookfield when the teams last played back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 25-20 win. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
