Basketball Recap: Claire Schnecker Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Fox Lane

Ossining won the last time they faced Fox Lane and things went their way on Friday too. The Ossining Pride walked away with a 56-49 victory over the Fox Lane Foxes. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pride.

Ossining's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Claire Schnecker, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 16 boards. Another player making a difference was Saniya Bell, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds.

Ossining smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in five consecutive games.

Ossining is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.2 points per game.
