Softball Recap: East Mecklenburg Has No Trouble Against Garinger

East Mecklenburg won the last time they faced Garinger and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 18-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for East Mecklenburg and bumps their season record up to 7-8. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-6 Rocky River and 3-7 Garinger. As for Garinger, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Mecklenburg will head out to challenge Mallard Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Garinger, they will venture away from home to take on Rocky River at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
