Highlands and Derry are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2017, but likely not for long. The Golden Rams will welcome the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Highlands fell victim to Mars and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Fightin' Planets, falling 8-0. The Golden Rams have struggled against the Fightin' Planets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Highlands saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kristian Kocon, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Derry suffered their biggest defeat since May 6, 2024 on Saturday. They lost 13-1 to Indiana. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Trojans' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Derry now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Highlands, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Highlands skirted past Derry 7-6 when the teams last played back in May of 2019. Will the Golden Rams repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
