Middle Creek has gone a perfect 10-0 against Cary recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Mustangs will head out to take on the Imps at 4:00 p.m. Middle Creek is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

Holly Springs hit Middle Creek with a six-run fourth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Mustangs lost 8-1 to the Golden Hawks. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Middle Creek saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hailey Hoeft, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Cary was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They fell 8-3 to Riverside-Durham.

Hailey Hackett was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs. Mady Kyte also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Middle Creek's record now sits at 6-8. As for Cary, their record is now 1-14.

Middle Creek took their win against Cary when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 15-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
