Campbellsville waltzed into their matchup  on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Holy Cross Cougars as they made off with  a  9-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 13 contests by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Kace Eastridge made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out seven batters over  4.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off   one  hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  run and one  RBI.
 Eastridge wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Ty Burwash, who  went 1-for-3 with one  run and one  double. Another  was  Remy Brown, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  stolen base and one  run.
Campbellsville pushed their record up to 18-5 with the  victory, which was their third straight  at home. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Holy Cross, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost ten of their last 13 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record  this season.
