Baseball Recap: Weehawken Takes a Loss

Weehawken fell victim to Rutherford and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 10-0 to the Bulldogs. The loss continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost five in a row.

Weehawken's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-2. As for Rutherford, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Weehawken will host Harrison at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rutherford, they will challenge Cresskill at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
