West put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Brighton Bengals 83-40. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 20 points or more this season.

Fina Tuha was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 19 points and ten boards. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 8.1 rebounds per game. Another player making a difference was Kylee Falatea, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine assists.

West smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 30 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 16 offensive boards in 17 consecutive contests.

Despite the defeat, Brighton had strong showings from Olivia Stephens, who went 7 for 14 en route to 19 points, and Sophie Nielsen, who posted nine points and five boards. Stephens is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games.

West pushed their record up to 17-0 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Brighton, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-7.

West wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 61-44 win against Alta on the 31st. Brighton has also already played their next game, a 67-24 victory against Highland on the 31st.
