Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Christian Trojans vs. Legacy Christian Academy Eagles

Trinity Christian is a perfect 4-0 against Legacy Christian Academy since November of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Trojans will host the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Both teams are still undefeated after three games, but that won't be the case come Tuesday.

On Thursday, Trinity Christian didn't have too much trouble with Lakewood Presbyterian as they won 51-34.

Trinity Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Addi Guiler led the charge by dropping a double-double with 13 points and ten boards. Guiler is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: she's pulled down at least nine every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Jordyn Lacour, who posted 11 points in addition to seven boards and six steals.

Trinity Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.

Meanwhile, Legacy Christian Academy hadn't done well against Dallas Christian recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Eagles strolled past the Chargers with points to spare, taking the game 45-31.

Trinity Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Legacy Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 3-0.

Trinity Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Legacy Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, winning 35-28. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
