Volleyball Recap: Dimond Comes Up Short

Dimond saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell just short of the Glenn Grizzlies by a score of 2-1.

Dimond came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 21-25, 25-22.

Dimond's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Glenn, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dimond will challenge Bettye Davis East Anchorage at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. The game will give the Lynx their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Glenn, they will face off against Bowie at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
