Recap: Rancho Alamitos Vaqueros vs. Loara Saxons
The Rancho Alamitos Vaqueros lost against the Loara Saxons back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Rancho Alamitos took a 63-45 bruising from Loara. Rancho Alamitos has not had much luck with Loara recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Rancho Alamitos' lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Luis Rico, who scored 11 points. The match was Rico's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Inoke Malo, who scored 12 points along with 8 rebounds.
Rancho Alamitos has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Loara, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-4.
Rancho Alamitos will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Katella at 7:00 p.m. on December 4th. Katella will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Loara will take on Garden Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Garden Grove is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
