It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Don Lugo ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Chino Cowboys by a score of 4-3 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). This was a revenge game for the Conquistadores: when they faced off against the Cowboys last Monday, they had to take a 4-3 loss.

Don Lugo saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryan Scott, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Don Lugo is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Chino, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 13-3.
