Baseball Game Preview: King's Academy Knights vs. Menlo-Atherton Bears

For the second straight game, King's Academy will face off against Menlo-Atherton. The Knights will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Bears at 4:00 p.m.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when King's Academy and Menlo-Atherton meet (five straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Wednesday. The Knights had just enough and edged out the Bears 5-4.

For Menlo-Atherton's part, they saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gianni Olivero, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Masataka Shudo was another, going 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Menlo-Atherton's defeat dropped their record down to 15-7. As for King's Academy, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
