Basketball Recap: North Springs Takes a Loss

North Springs lost against Tucker back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The North Springs Spartans fell 41-34 to the Tucker Tigers. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Harmonie Cooper was her usual excellent self, putting up 16 points for Tucker. That makes it four consecutive games in which Cooper has scored at least a third of Tucker's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Azaria Tolen, who posted nine points.

North Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Tucker, they moved to 12-10 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Springs will host Clarkston at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Springs is facing Clarkston at the right time seeing as Clarkston is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Tucker, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Marist at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Marist will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Tucker surely won't give up without a fight.
