Volleyball Recap: College Park Academy Starts Season with Win Against Central

College Park Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Central Falcons. College Park Academy hasn't had any issues with Central recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant College Park Academy was: they took every set by at least 25 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Central is on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

College Park Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Oxon Hill at 6:30 p.m. on October 8. As for Central, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Douglass on the 17th.
