Logan is 8-2 against Tucumcari since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Longhorns will head out to face off against the Rattlers at 5:30 p.m. Logan is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.

On Saturday, Logan got the win against Fort Sumner/House by a conclusive 3-0.

While Logan might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Fort Sumner/House scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-22, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Tucumcari came up short against Santa Fe Prep on Saturday, falling 3-0. The Rattlers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Tucumcari was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Santa Fe Prep's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-17, 25-18.

Logan's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Tucumcari, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

Logan took their win against Tucumcari in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Longhorns since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
