After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Swainsboro, Metter was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Savannah Bluejackets 28-6. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Bluejackets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Michael Ricks was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 112 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 85 yards and one TD.

Metter now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Savannah, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Coincidentally, Metter and Savannah will both be playing Portal the next time they take the field. The Tigers will host the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Bluejackets will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on the 26th.
