Softball Recap: Bishop Carroll Takes a Loss

Bishop Carroll extended their losing streak to three on Monday, dropping their season record down to 1-13 in the process. They lost 10-0 to the Richland Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-3 back in March.

As for Richland, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-8. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their two-run performance the match before.

For Richland's part, Casey Yost was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. That's the most hits Yost has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Alea Ladika, who went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Looking ahead, Bishop Carroll will be playing at home against Chestnut Ridge at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Richland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
