Basketball Recap: Cedar Hill Triumphs

Cedar Hill picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against the San Marcos Rattlers by a score of 52-41.

When it comes to explaining why San Marcos lost, don't look at Azariah Fennell. Despite the final result, she posted 12 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals. Fennell also put up a block, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Melayna Perkins, who earned 11 points.

Cedar Hill's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for San Marcos, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-5.

Looking ahead, Cedar Hill will square off against Bowie at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday. As for San Marcos, they will be taking part in a tournament against Churchill at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
