Basketball Game Preview: Ironwood Eagles vs. Centennial Coyotes

The Ironwood Eagles will square off against the Centennial Coyotes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Ironwood's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine matchups.

If Ironwood beats Centennial with 89 points on Friday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. Ironwood simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Lake Havasu 89-34. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Centennial was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 61-55 to Sunrise Mountain. The Coyotes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ironwood's victory was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-6. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.9 points. As for Centennial, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-14.
