Baseball Game Preview: Robinson Knights vs. Leto Falcons

The Robinson Knights will face off against the Leto Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Robinson's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Leto's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Robinson's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Wednesday's struggle, when Wharton hitters got past them. Robinson took a 12-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of Wharton on Wednesday.

Brady Capps and Jackson Tebbe stepped up to the plate in a big way. Capps went 3-for-5 with one home run and four RBI, while Tebbe got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave Tebbe a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyson Boyd, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Leto came up short against Cambridge Christian on Wednesday, falling 9-2.

Caleb Rodriguez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 3-for-3. Chris Ortiz also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Robinson's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Leto, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.
