Volleyball Recap: East Carteret Comes Up Short + How To Watch

East Carteret lost against West Carteret back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Mariners lost 3-0 to the Patriots.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-10, 25-12.

Skyler Bordeaux paced East Carteret's offense, picking up four kills. Bordeaux got some help from Kolby Piner and her five assists.

East Carteret has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season. As for West Carteret, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-2.

Coming up, East Carteret is taking a road trip to square off against Northside - Pinetown at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Carteret, they will head out to challenge Richlands at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
