Lehighton has gone 7-2 against Catasauqua recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Indians will head out to square off against the Rough Riders at 4:15 p.m. Lehighton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.9 runs per game this season.

Lehighton managed to slip by Southern Lehigh the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Indians lost 11-4 to the Spartans on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Indians have suffered since May 22, 2024.

Lehighton saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Derek Behler, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Cody Snyder was another, going 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Catasauqua was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Jim Thorpe.

Lehighton's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 8-2. As for Catasauqua, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.

Catasauqua's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Lehighton hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .364. It's a different story for Catasauqua, though, as they've only averaged .162. Will they be able to contain Lehighton's hitters?

Lehighton came out on top in a nail-biter against Catasauqua in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 4-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
