Recap: Charles Page Sandites vs. Raymore-Peculiar Panthers
The Charles Page Sandites had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.4 points), and they went ahead and made it nine on Thursday. They walked away with a 61-49 win over Raymore-Peculiar.
Deke Thompson was his usual excellent self, scoring 16 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. He hasn't dropped below 15points for ten straight games. Another player making a difference was Khalil Allen, who scored 12 points.
Charles Page pushed their record up to 9-3 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Raymore-Peculiar, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Charles Page on the road again on Friday and play against Union at 5:30 p.m. on January 19th. Union has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 429 points over their last six contests. As for Raymore-Peculiar, they will head out on the road to face off against Blue Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
