Baseball Recap: Walhalla Comes Up Short

Walhalla lost against Crescent on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Razorbacks fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 14-13. The Razorbacks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nate Johnson and Dalton Dial did some serious damage despite the final result: Johnson went 3-for-5 with three runs and one stolen base, while Dial went 2-for-4 with three runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Smith, who went 3-for-5 with one RBI.

Walhalla's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Crescent, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Walhalla will take on rival Belton-Honea Path at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Crescent is set to challenge their familiar foe Pendleton at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
