Worth County had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bacon County Raiders on Tuesday, sneaking past 53-50. The victory was familiar territory for the Rams, who have now won eight matchups in a row.

Despite the loss, Bacon County saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Marnay'Jah Reynolds went 13-for-18 en route to 38 points. That's the most points Reynolds has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Makayla Thomas, who put up five points along with 19 rebounds and five blocks.

Worth County pushed their record up to 16-8 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.4 points over those games. As for Bacon County, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-11.

Worth County has already played their next game, a 51-45 defeat against Rabun County on the 21st. Bacon County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
