Basketball Recap: Perry Panthers vs. Harding Raiders
It's playoff time, and Perry had no trouble coming through when it counted. They beat the Harding Raiders on Thursday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 52-51. The win was all the more spectacular given the Panthers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 167th, while the Raiders are ranked 37th).

Luke Wolf was his usual excellent self, shooting 63% from the field on his way to 29 points and five rebounds. The last time his field goal percentage was this high was back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Darnell Mcleod, who posted eight points along with six assists and five boards.
The victory was the third in a row for Perry, bringing their record for this year to 12-13. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.7 points over those games. As for Harding, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-5.
Coming up, Perry will welcome Shaker Heights at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Perry is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.4 points per game this season. Harding does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
