Jefferson Area was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Wickliffe on Wednesday. The Jefferson Area Falcons claimed a resounding 82-40 win over the Wickliffe Blue Devils. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 20 points or more this season.

Jefferson Area has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.2 points over those games. Wickliffe is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-11.

Jefferson Area didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 85-47 victory against McKinley on the 21st. As for Wickliffe, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Shaw at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Wickliffe is facing Shaw at the right time seeing as Shaw is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
