Williamsburg unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 45-44 to the Clinton-Massie Falcons. The match was a 16-16 toss-up at halftime, but the Wildcats couldn't quite close it out.

Clinton-Massie was led to victory by Zander Mills and Avden Faucett. Mills went 5 for 9 en route to 14 points, while Faucett scored nine points plus five rebounds and four steals.
