Softball Recap: Frankston Has No Trouble Against Wortham

Frankston won the last time they faced Wortham and things went their way on Friday too. Frankston put the hurt on Wortham with a sharp 14-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won eight matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Frankston and bumps their season record up to 11-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Wortham, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.

Looking ahead, Frankston will take on Cayuga at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cayuga has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.15 runs per game on average), something Frankston will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Wortham, they will square off against Kerens at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kerens will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Wortham surely won't give up without a fight.
