Wesclin lost against Hillsboro last Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wesclin Warriors took a 39-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hillsboro Hiltoppers. The Warriors' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Hillsboro was led to victory by Ella Greenwood and Kearstynn Davis. Greenwood went 6 of 9 from beyond the arc en route to 20 points, while Davis almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 14 boards. That's the most points Greenwood has posted since back in January of 2024.

Wesclin's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Hillsboro, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-6.

Wesclin has already played their next contest, a 42-39 win against Salem on the 25th. As for Hillsboro, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 52-40 defeat against Effingham on the 25th.
