Basketball Recap: Bruce Randolph Takes a Loss

Bruce Randolph was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 43-37 heartbreaker at the hands of the Jefferson Saints. The Grizzlies lost against the Saints in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 65-35 score last time.

Jefferson's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from T Nutter, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 17 boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which Nutter has scored at least a third of Jefferson's points. Another player making a difference was Meadow Mondragon, who posted ten points and six assists.

Bruce Randolph's record is now 7-14. As for Jefferson, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Bruce Randolph will challenge The Pinnacle at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jefferson, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Non Varsity Opponent at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
