Baseball Game Preview: Wyoming Seminary College Prep Blue Knights vs. Forest City Foresters

The Wyoming Seminary College Prep Blue Knights will face off against the Forest City Foresters at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.

Wyoming Seminary College Prep came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 14-4 to Bethlehem Catholic.

Leo Nockley was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Forest City had to kick off their season on the road two weeks ago, but they showed no ill effects. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over Western Wayne.

Jeremy Slick was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Slick was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one stolen base.

Slick wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Evan Oneill, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases. Another was Ethan Mead, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Wyoming Seminary College Prep now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Forest City, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.

Everything went Wyoming Seminary College Prep's way against Forest City in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, as Wyoming Seminary College Prep made off with a 12-2 win.
