Soccer Recap: Vero Beach Gets the Win

Vero Beach won the last time they faced Okeechobee and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Vero Beach Indians came out on top against the Okeechobee Brahmans by a score of 3-1.

Vero Beach hit Okeechobee with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Chase Resch, Santiago Escalante, and Barrett Marques.

Vero Beach's victory bumped their record up to 9-10-3. As for Okeechobee, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vero Beach will take on Eau Gallie at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Okeechobee, they will face off against Centennial at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Centennial is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.
