After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Olentangy Berlin, Hilliard Darby was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They put the hurt on the Westland Cougars with a sharp 3-0 win. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Hilliard Darby took every set by at least 15 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-10, 25-10.

Lila Handrahan went supernova, getting 13 digs and four aces. That's the most aces she has posted since September 4th. Brooke Ison also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Hilliard Darby's record now sits at 11-7. As for Westland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
