Volleyball Recap: Tri-Point Triumphs + How To Watch

Tri-Point won the last time they faced Clifton Central and things went their way on Thursday too. The Chargers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Comets.

If you add up the scores from across all three sets (67-66) Tri-Point actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-18, 26-24.

Lexa Porth paced Tri-Point's offense, picking up nine kills. Porth got some help from Rachel Darda and her 20 assists. Addisyn Honeycutt controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Tri-Point's victory bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Clifton Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Tri-Point will venture away from home to face off against Milford at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Clifton Central, they will head out to challenge Herscher at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
