Lakewood Ranch's game on Friday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They had just enough and edged the Palmetto Tigers out 3-2. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Tigers are ranked 243rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jacob Gillson and Jonathan Leatt scored all three of Lakewood Ranch's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.
