Softball Recap: Abraham Lincoln Comes Up Short

Abraham Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Central Lancers, falling 16-4. If the Railsplitters were looking for revenge after losing 16-0 to the Lancers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Central pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Abraham Lincoln will host Masterman at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Central, they will challenge Swenson Arts & Tech at 3:15 p.m. on Monday.
