Pennsbury can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 53-51 victory over Neshaminy. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Pennsbury has posted yet this season.
Meanwhile, Harry S. Truman's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 57-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Council Rock North. Harry S. Truman has struggled against Council Rock North recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Pennsbury's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Harry S. Truman, they dropped their record down to 1-13 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Pennsbury was able to grind out a solid victory over Harry S. Truman when the teams last played back in December of 2023, winning 39-31. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pennsbury since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
