Baseball Game Preview: Elk Grove Thundering Herd vs. Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack

For the second straight game, Elk Grove will face off against Cosumnes Oaks. The Thundering Herd will face off against the Wolfpack at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Elk Grove's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Cosumnes Oaks' hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Elk Grove is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Cosumnes Oaks get on the board and left with a 14-0 win on Tuesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Thundering Herd with their most commanding win of the season.

Colton Lincoln looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Elk Grove is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 8-9 otherwise.
