Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chestertown Christian Academy). They secured a 35-29 W over the Fairwinds Christian Knights on Friday. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Fairwinds Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Natalie Hernandez and Gabby Johnson. Hernandez posted eight points along with eight rebounds and three steals, while Johnson almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine boards. That was a full 44.8% of Fairwinds Christian's points, marking the eighth time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points.

Chestertown Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Fairwinds Christian, they dropped their record down to 1-10 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chestertown Christian Academy will square off against Greenwood Mennonite at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
